WWF REBELLION RESULTS

For the Information Of Anybody Reading The Full Results, But Not The PBP:

I was not able to do the matches up until Angle/Jericho off of my own TV. Instead, i took from the comments of others that had purchased the PPV, that i knew. During the Angle/Jericho match, my lousy PPV provider FINALLY gave me the live feed. Now for the results...

Match 1: Edge vs Christian - Steel Cage Match For the IC Title

Ending:
Christian attempts to climb over the top of the cage, nearly managing to escape, only for Edge to grab him at the last second. Edge grabs Christian's legs, pulls them into a position where he is entangled in the cage. Edge then climbs over the top of the cage to win.

Winner: Edge (Still IC Champ)

No high spots of note in this match.

Hugh Morrus and Chavo Guerrero Jr. burst into Trish Stratus' locker room to interview her, but she tells them to go find Lita.

Match 2: Scotty 2 Hotty vs The Hurricane

Lots of cover attempts during this match, one which is said to be quite a boring one. However, as light relief, The Hurricane attempts to do The Worm!

Ending:
Hurricane hits a powerful Lance Storm/HBK style Super Kick to Scotty, and attempts to get the cheap win via using his legs on the rope as leverage. Scotty kicks out.

Scotty hits his version of The Worm and gets the 3 count.

Winner: Scotty 2 Hotty

Backstage Segment:
Hugh Morrus and Chavo are now looking for Lita. They find her, walk in... and she is half naked!

The ref starts his 10 count, but Page gets his arm over The Big Show just in time... 1 count, 2 count... KICK OUT, just in time. DDP goes to attack TBS, but he is hit with a huge Chokeslam like the one he recieved on Raw, giving the 3 count pinall victory to the Big Show.

Winner: The Big Show

After The Match:
DDP gets on the mic and tells everybody that his loss to The Big Show "was not a bad thing, but was a good thing!".

Backstage Segment:
Hugh Morrus and Chavo Guerrero Jr. are backstage, and walk in on Mighty Molly!... but she walks off.

We are now cut to a dark room where Kurt Angle, Stone Cold, Shane O Mac and Debra are sitting, 'plotting'. Angle tells us an English tale, about "Knights and Dragons". Austin becomes infuriated at Kurt, and starts to say "WHAT" many many times.

Match 4: 3 Team Elimination Match for The WCW Tag Team Titles (Dudley Boyz vs Hardyz vs APA)
Dudleyz come out first, followed by the APA (who recieve a huge pop) and then The Hardy Boyz (who receve a huger pop, if such a word doth exist).

Bradshaw starts to beat Matt down, nailing a Big Boot to the face, before proceeding to knock Jeff off of the Apron to the floor. Matt is then placed onto the top turnbuckle, but reverses and nails Bradshaw with a Top Rope DDT. Twist of Fate by Matt Hardy and The APA are then eliminated.

Match 5: William Regal vs Tajiri
Crowd chant "Regal Sucks", while Tajiri nails the WCW Commish with one of his "Kicks of Death" to the face. However, Regal fires back with some of his high offense "shoot style" UFC moves. Tajiri nails Regal with a Hard Death Kick to the head once again, sending Willy to the outside.

Regal attacks Tajiri on the outside with some mauling punches, before they go back into the ring. Regal attempts the pinfall, but only a 2 count.

Lots of scuffling, before a Missile Dropkick on Regal, by Tajiri... from the Top Rope. Tarantula on Regal. Tajiri attempts a top-rope moonsault, but Regal dodges it. Turnabout time, Regal locks in the Regal Stretch, and gets the victory.

Michael Cole interviews Kurt Angle. Angle says how the crowd looks like "people from a strange ways prison". He continues on to mock tonight's opponent, mr Y2J, Chris Jericho.

Y = Yellow
2 = The Number for a Toilet (ie, a poopy [hey, i dont want to swear!])
J = Jerk

Kurt then introduces Michael Cole to his Olympic Medals... but that isn't the gold he is going after tonight, tonight it is all about Jericho's WCW Title.

Match 6: Chris Jericho vs Kurt Angle for the WCW Title
Angle comes out first, followed by Jericho, who recieves a rather mixed crowd reaction. Angle goes tof a takedown on Jericho, but that is reversed with some hard chops from Jericho.

Stacy provokes Trish, who bulldogs Stacy. No Nudity. Footage from WrestleMania now shown, before the upcoming Austin/Rock match.

For All Who Are Interested, I Managed to Purchase The PPV Near The End Of The Angle/Jericho match... this is why the PBP since then has been that little bit better.

Match 8 - The Main Event: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock for the WWF Title
Austin out first to a chorus of Boos, and Rock out second to a chorus of... CHEERS!

Rock on the turnbuckle looking out to all of his millions... and MILLIONS of fans, but Austin attacks him. Neckbreaker by Rock, then both men go to the outside. Austin rams the Rock's head into the barrier next to JR and Heyman, before taking him around to the other side, and slapping him across the chest.

The Rock takes Austin back to the Commentary table, and knocks him to the floor, stomping him over and over. Both men are back in the ring... for a whole of 5 seconds, as The Rock knocks Austin to the outside again, this time going up the ramp.

Suplex by the Rock on Austin, onto the wire mesching at the top of the ramp. Ouch, did that sound painful. Another Suplex by The Rock, before he proceeds to take Austin down to the ring. Clothesline on Austin. Back into the ring, with Austin now in charge.

Quote: Heyman
"Austin is using the ropes like... a TAG team partner".

Austin gives a single finger salute to the crowd twice, giving Rock enough time to hit a schoolboy for a 2 count. Austin knocks Rock to the canvas tho, and gets 3 two counts in a row. Mounted punches to the face by Austin... and we're back at the Announce Table. Austin sets up Rock for a piledriver, but a low blow reverses it. Austin then suplexes Rock's leg onto the announce table, and takes him back into the ring.

Hebner shoves Austin (who retaliates with ANOTHER middle finger salute). This gives The Rock enough time to get back into the match. Austin goes for the Elbow off the ropes, but before he executes it (on his 3rd bounce off the rope), he gives... YET ANOTHER Middle Finger to each side of the arena (the crowd).

Both men are on the canvas, but the Rock is back up first. The Rock is now mocking Austin, firstly hitting the Lou Thesz press, and then hitting Austin's tradmark Elbow off the ropes. 2 Count on Austin. Both men are back up, and Austin locks a sleeper on The Rock.

Hebner litfts The Rock's arm 3 times... first 2 times... it drops... third time.... IT STAYS UP, The Rock has NOT been put to sleep... what a suprise, ey? Spinebuster by Austin, 2 count. Austin is attempting to lock in a Boston Crab on the Rock, right next to the ropes... The Rock is reithing in pain, and eventually reaches for the ropes. Austin increases the torque on the Crab, and drags Rock closer to the center of the ring. I have to say, in my opinion, this has been a VERY solid match, so far.

Both men are on the canvas, and the ref is making the 10 count, with the crowd chanting along at each number. Both men are up at 9, with the Rock taking the offense. Body to Body toss by Rock, into a 2 count. Austin is whipped into Heber in the corner... Austin ducks Rock's clothesline, and Hebner gets whacked. Hebner is out of it.

The Rock is locking the Sharpshooter on Austin, in the VERY MIDDLE of the ring... but no ref!

The Rock releases the hold, letting Austin lock in the very same move. The Rock reverses it though and once again, has the Sharpshooter locked in. But here comes Kurt Angle! Chair to the back of the head from Angle on The Rock. Angle is taunting the Rock to get up, but here comes Chris Jericho! Jericho makes the save and takes the chair.

The Rock gets up, and looks at Jericho... The Rock thinks Jericho hit him with the chair! Both men battle and Jericho goes to the outside. Angle is back in, and nails the Rock. The ref is still down. Austin goes for the Stunner, but Rock reverses it.

Rock Bottom by Rock, who is now going for the People's Elbow, but Angle trips the Rock. Rock is back up, but so is Austin.... AND THE REF! Rock turns around, STUNNER by Austin.

The ref is stirring, Austin has the cover and yes... 1... 2... 3... Austin wins, Austin retains. Once again, The Rock, is screwed.

Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin (Still WWF Champ)

After The Match:
Angle and Austin... erm... hug, as Rebellion ends.
