T2

Almost done…. Just a little time before you head out to RUN

Run or walk your bike back to your spot and get ready to make the T2 progression.


Rack your bike, lose your helmet, gloves and bike shoes, and then change into your running shoes.


For those of you in your running shoes already, you just saved some time.


For the rest of us, make sure you use some quick action strings…
Get you number belt on if you’re not wearing it already, (preference)

If your body needs it, drink some more, but not to much, maybe a bathroom break... in long races, I love this time…

If it is sunny, use a hat that breaths and some sun block for protection.

Remember to take little steps and watch out for people in the Transition area with there bikes…just a few friends trying to get to the same place you are.

This is easiest place to make up some time, if all you need is to put on you shoes and number belt, you in good shape to complete you race.

If it is super HOT…. Have a small ice chest with some frozen sponges inside,
Put these under your shoulder straps or in front on your chest, these babies will save your life on a 100 plus degree day…

Now get out there and run down those swimmers and bikers….
