'Passing'
'I'd like to pass as a Real Girl'

'I pass easily'

'I live as a girl 7 x 24'

Hmmm. I wanted to devote a bit of space to the subject of being able to pass yourself off as a genetic woman. Its a big thing with a lot of TVs so well worth looking at. Here's the bad news first - most of us dont 'pass'. Simple as that. Sure there are exceptions and I'll go into that in a minute but most of us quite frankly dont stand a cat in hell's chance, certainly not in broad daylight, in the queue in Tesco's, or in any set of day to day circumstances. Sorry but thats the way it goes

Why not? Come on, Trisha, I've starved myself to perfect slenderness, toned my body in the gym, learned how to do my makeup exquisitely, bought a really expensive wig, figure
shapers etc etc. I look like a million dollars and have admirers slavering over my photos. What do you mean, I cant pass?  You're just a jealous bitch - you with your  blokey gut,,,,,
Ok, when it comes right down to it, we all have male bodies and it shows (no, not like that - you can buy things to keep that tucked in!)
Look at a naked man and naked woman, and it isnt just down to dangly bits for him and shapely breasts for her. If you're genetically male, you have a longer trunk and lower waist. Your shoulders are broader, certainly in relation to your hips which are narrower.  Ok so your legs are longer (which is a Good Thing) but not in comparison with your torso. Your bum's also likely to be smaller (well, maybe...)

Take a look at the pic of me on the left. I chose this one even though its an old pic, because its a rear view and you're less likely to be distracted by details like my face. See what I mean? Long body, quite broad shoulders and a small bum. Do I look like a woman? Hmmm. Putting it another way, do I look 'like a woman' ? See the difference? Now apart from the thick waist, I reckon I look pretty good, but no-one with anything approaching 20-20 vision is likely to think 'Wow, look at that sexy girl'.
It gets worse.  Take a look at the pic on the right.  It's a very old photo, and I chose it because my lack of makeup skills at that time highlight a few things. First off - look at the size of my hands. Enormous. Ok, so I have narrow hands with long fingers but they're still huge. Moving on, the Adams Apple is obvious so lets not go there. But look at my face (go on, I dare you!). Look at the brow line - see the bony arch where my eyebrows run? Women dont have that, and its a dead giveaway. You'll see my face is pretty bony all round ......
And on the left? More feminine? Well, yes but the brow line is disguised with makeup and eye pencil, and my foundation flatters my face. A good camera angle disguises my Adams Apple and the masculine outline of my face. So I'm passable? Nope. Off photo the makeup is very visible and obvious.  Real Girls dont wear anywhere near as much so its a dead giveaway.
Oh, and just remember one thing. I've been blessed with a face thats quite feminine anyway. I have small features for a guy and the big hair compliments that.
Very little advantage as a male, but handy if you're TV.
