Blitz is the greatest, I'm so blessed to have this boy apart of the family. Right away as a pup I could see he was a little firecracker with a very happy/sunny disposition and he loved to give out kisses and crawl up on available laps. Blitz's breeder only lived 1 state away from me in Indiana so I was very fortunate to be able to go visit his litter when the pups were just 5 weeks old. Blitz was just what I was looking for, playful, active, people orientated and affectionate. Not too mention beautiful also! I hopped in the pup's play pen and Blitz came right over to me to investigate, chewing on my camera case, shoe laces, and then crawled up on my lap to take a nap. That pretty much sealed the deal, I'm a sucker for a good furry snuggler. 3 weeks later I drove back to pick him up and take him home for good. Blitz and I have trained and competed in many different events including agility, herding, conformation, obedience, dock diving, frisbee and even doggy NASCAR. He is always up for anything, but I think agility is his favorite, which I think is just great since it is mine too! Speed is his middle name, and it has really been a challenge for me to learn how to handle him and be the handler he needs to succeed. He is very sensitive to my movement and can be just a bit on the pushy side sometimes so I have to hold my ground in training or I soon find that he is training me to do as he wants. LOL! He finished his AKC breed championship easily, owner handled all the way. Our most memorable win was taking Best Puppy in Sweeps at the 2005 National Border Collie Specialty. He has beautiful movement, and a great showy temperament, always having a good time and could usually get even a stern judge to crack a smile.
