The  "Smile Album" pages are based on thoughts, creative efforts and the life of the webdesigner:                                                                    Pamela Milliron Jarvinen
Pamela Milliron Jarvinen, is married and  lives in a small suburban town outside of
Detroit, Michigan. Growing up, Pamela was often called the smiley-girl by her friends, family and co-workers. Pamela could almost always be found with a smile or encouraging word to pass along for the day. Because of her nickname, Pamela chose SMILES as a theme for her personal webpages. "The Smile Album" webpages are an ongoing effort that began its development after Pamela decided to build "outside of the box", and take on the world of computers. In Pamela's youth she had been a successful hands on graphic artist with remarkable talent. Some stressful family times forced Pamela not to continue her schooling and as time marched on so did the world of commercial graphic design. Suddenly Pamela's dream to develop her talent  into an advertising career were shattered by the realization that much commercial work is now handled by artists using computers as the medium to create their work. "Dreams have a way of becoming real if you work hard enough", said Pamela, and so she went on to begin the self teaching process necessary to learn basic webdesign skills.
Laughing, Pamela admits that her true love is still the feel of sketching a thought
or idea on paper, "but in the meantime, I'll just go on learning as much I can so
that I will be ready when the dream catches up to me."
