Assistant Patrol Leader (APL)
Job Description:       
The Assistant Patrol Leader is appointed by the Patrol Leader and leads the patrol in his absence.
Reports to: The Patrol Leader       
Assistant Patrol Leader duties:       
Assist the Patrol Leader in:         
- planning and leading patrol meetings and activities.
- keeping patrol members informed.
- preparing your patrol to take part in all troop activities
and also:
1.   Help steer patrol meetings and activities         
2.   Take charge of the patrol in the absence of the Patrol Leader.         
3.   Represent the patrol at Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC) meetings in the
       absence of the Patrol Leader.         
4.   Work with the other troop leaders to make the troop run well.         
5.   Attends at least 75% of each event type during his service period.         
6.   Help develop patrol spirit.         
7.   Set a good example.         
8.   Wear the Scout Uniform correctly.         
9.   Live by the Scout Oath and Law.         
10.  Show Scout Spirit.
Requirements:       
1.   Serves for 6 months.
2.   Must be active in the troop.
