|
|
|
The Senior Patrol Leader is elected by the Scouts to represent them as the top junior leader in the troop. |
|
|
|
|
|
Reports to: Scoutmaster |
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Senior Patrol Leader duties: |
|
|
|
1. Preside at all troop meetings, events, activities, and the annual program planning conference. 2. Chair the Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC) meeting once a month. 3. Appointed other boy leaders with the advice and consent of the Scoutmaster. 4. Assign duties and responsibilities to other junior leaders. 5. Assists with Scoutmaster in training junior leaders. 6. Delegates task to the ASPLs. Makes sure an ASPL attends any meeting/function he will not be able to attend (Troop Meeting, PLC Committee Meeting, campout/outing etc.) 7. Oversees the planning efforts of Scouts for all Troop campouts (whether he attends these outings or not). 8. Has good attendance at Troop meetings. 9. Attends at least 75% of each event type during his service period. 10. Set a good example. 11. Enthusiastically wear the Scout Uniform correctly. 12. Live by the Scout Oath and Law. 13. Show Scout spirit. |

Requirements: |

|
1. Serves for 6 months. 2. Must be 14 years of age or have Scoutmaster approval. 3. Must be Life Rank or have Scoutmaster approval. 4. Must be active in the troop. |
