Jay M. Johnson
Jay joined Troop 14 in October of 1981 and earned his Eagle in March of 1988. He is the 12th scout in Troop 14 to earn this honor. Jay graduated from Michigan State University in 1992 with a B.S. in Computer Science. He then served on active duty in the Army for six years and is now a member of the Army Reserves. Currently, Jay is a Research Assistant at Drexel University and is pursuing his Ph.D. in Information Studies. He and his wife reside in Voorhees, New Jersey.
For his Eagle Project, Jay and his team performed maintenance on the two tot lots at the J. Harold Van Zant Elementary School and the park areas at Greentree Village and Cambridge Park. Jay's team sanded and painted the playground equipment and removed weeds and debris from these areas using items donated by local businesses.
