Boy Scout Troop 433 was formed on March 28, 1988 by Rev. Robin Murray, pastor of Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church and Unit Commissioner Richard Vaillancourt. There were six registered scouts. The original Scoutmaster Danny Mann. In May 1988, the membership was fourteen scouts and two patrols were formed. The Troop has attended summer camp every year since 1988. They have attended Scout shows and Camporees. They hold 9 "Quality Unit Awards" and have earned many ribbons, citations, plaques and recognitions. In 1989, five scouts attended the Boy Scout Jamboree at Fort A. P. Hill, Virginia. Eight scouts attended the Jamboree in August 1993.
