Advancements

Congratulations to the following scouts making advancements:  Jonathan Grenda, Sean Garten, Conner Bolles, Glenn Skelly all made Tenderfoot Rank. Aaron D’Angelo has achieved the difficult Life Rank.

Sports month

On May 4th the scouts brought their hockey sticks for a lively game of street hockey in the parking lot.

On May 11th the troop went to Niagara Climbing Center for an evening of Rock Climbing.  Ron had the fastest time of 9 seconds scaling one wall. We were trained then all took turns baleying the climbers.

Josh's Eagle Scout Project

On May 7th, the scouts and parents did a day of community service at the Carrousel Museum in N. Tonawanda. We planted trees, moved shrubs, and built a landscaped area surrounded by bricks and filled in with mulch and ground cover plants. Following the day of hard work we toured the museum and took rides an on old-fashioned Carrousel (merry-go-round). Josh should be finishing his last few merit badges for Eagle Rank shortly. One requirement for the Eagle Rank is to complete a major community service project.
