This is what your child's uniform should look like. If you are purchasing a uniform,
please follow the diagram. If your child already has a uniform, please take the time to check and
make sure that it looks like this. Note: Your child's uniform may not have some of the patches!
This is okay, but check the bottom of the page for the ones he may not have.

Patches You May Not Have

1.Trained Patch
2.Quality Unit Award
3.World Crest Emblem
4.Optional Nameplate
5.Camp Patch
6.Recruiter Award
7.Service Stars
8.Arrow of Light (unless he was a Cub Scout)
9.Council Patch, and Troop Number (you will receive it on first meeting)
10.Badge of Office (it doesn't come until First Class)
11.Den Chief Service Award
12.Den Chief Shoulder Cord

Be sure to get the red shoulder loops!

There are other items you must purchase for your uniform, too.
You need to be sure to get the offical Scout Shorts, a sash for your merit badges (your child
will be getting many of these), the offical scout belt, and 1 or 2 pairs of scout socks.
We do not wear the hat, or the neckerchief!

Ask the store where you bought your son's uniform
about these other items!
