Previous Minutes: Last month’s minutes were approved as written.
Committee Chair’s Report: Nothing to report.
Treasurer’s Report: Submitted in writing. Concern was raised that 2 people (not registered with the troop) dropped out of the ski trip without paying any of the $139 per person fee. The troop has paid for these individuals in total. Timberline Resort has been paid in full and is not willing to make any refunds. The individuals will be approached but the committee was doubtful if any fees will be recovered. Alternates are being sought. A suggestion was made to have anyone not registered with the troop pay in full at time of reservation on future events. No action was taken.
Scout Master’s Report: No report presented.
Greenbar Report: Information was presented by Janet.
-The Green Bar created a rotating schedule for troop meeting responsibilities (opening, setup and breakdown of equipment). The order will be: dragons, greasers, senior scouts, eagles.
-A troop pinewood derby is being added to the calendar. The event will have two categories: one meeting scout regulations, the second is an unlimited class. Scouts and parents will race together in the categories. A motion made to purchase the pinewood car kits for the scouts. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
-Court of Honor: 1) greasers will be running the event and providing drinks, 2) dragons will cleanup and provide dessert, 3) senior scouts will setup and provide snack, 4) eagles will perform closing and provide snacks. Patrols need to have patrol flag and cheer by the event
-The troop may need to reschedule the white water trip due to graduations. Graduating seniors may have a conflict with the first weekend in June.
-The Klondike is tentatively scheduled for first weekend in February.
-Scout Sunday February 4. The troop is considering joining Crew 759 at Mount Hebron,
-Need to shift patrol coaches to distribute more equally and make sure parents are not in son’s patrol.

Activities Coordinator Report: Submitted in writing along with the following highlights.
Howard reported that we still need a POC for winter camping trip to Camp Ware and for Scouting for Food (SFF). We may have some of the troop’s future scouts participate along with us for SFF. Crew 759 was invited to join with SFF. There is still not conformation on the new date for the Klondike. Klondike is still waiting for authorization from park and recreation. Bill Marose is willing to conduct youth protection, but not until things are finalized with the Klondike.
· Klondike – TBD
· Ski Trip – Jan 19-21
· Cabin Camping – Feb 16-18, 2007
Roundtable Minutes: Submitted in writing.
Webmaster’s Report: Dale reported that the calendar, committee documents and events have been updated.
New business:
-It was announced that 5 cub scouts from Pack 495 and 1 from 944 have committed to joining the troop.
-Howard will contact Dr. Dutton to see if he is willing to remain as the First Aid merit badge counselor. Committee voted to pay for his registration fee.
-Robin mentioned a power point presentation about recruiting new people to go to committee meeting. She will make contact to try to receive a copy.
-Discussed an email from Ginger Dunn with respect to a damaged American flag issue that she found in the Hebron House closet near the front door. It is believed that this is the old troop flag that was damaged at a camping event. Committee will investigate at Tuesday meeting. Follow up: the flag was checked tonight. The consensus is that the flag is our old one that was damaged off sight.
-Howard will look into the possibility of getting a credit card for the troop, so that the troop can accumulate “award” points towards scout equipment.
-There was a discussion on retaining older event files and have them for reference. Dale suggested putting the files into an archive on the troop web page
-Patrol leaders need to be reminded to call scouts for troop meetings.
Meeting: Started 7:05 PM; Ended 8:25 PM
