Who We Are
Troop
78 was first chartered to the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) on 31 March 1968. Beginning in 2004, the USAFA Association of Graduates became the Troop's charter partner.
Where We Are
Troop
78 is part of the Jamboree District, Pike's Peak Council in Colorado
Springs, Colorado. The Troop Meets in the Air Force Academy Scout Hut, a rustic log cabin located on the 18,000 acre Academy grounds at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Troop 78 also sponsors the patch program for the 12 mile long Falcon Trail, which circumnavigates the academy with elevations between 5600 and 7500 feet and includes a spur trail to the Scout camping area near the B-52 at the North gate of the Academy complex.
When We Meet
Troop meetings are held at the Scout hut at 7:00 PM every Tuesday except the first Tuesday of the month, which is the Patrol Leader's Council.
