Paint Process Pictures #4
Pictures of my car at Julian's Autobody - 4/29/2005
These photo's were taken on 4/29/2005, after 56 days at the bodyshop.

It's hard to describe the difference between the last time I went to Julian's and this most recent time; it's very hard to put into pictures.  Julian's shop has spent condierable time doing little stuff - blending corners to match, making sure gaps between body panels are consistent, etc...  The finished product will look better than the factory release, which is desireable by me since the car is not concours correct by any stretch of the imagination.

All body panels are now lined up.  It looks as though the left front fender is a reproduction fender, put on prior to me owning the car (we couldn't find part number codes stamped onto the fender).  Everything else is 1966 or NOS, which makes the fit easier to attain.

I expect to go to Julian's the weekend of May 12th and give my thumbs-up on the bodywork prior tp final paint and clearcoat.  We also worked out the final interior painting scheme, which was incorrect for the Pony interior.
