Mulligan Stew- Mulligan stew is the district
camp out at Oasis State park. It is held
every February, with scouts (Boy Scout and Cub Scout)
groups from all over the district coming together to
enjoy a little time, activities and a pot of stew
together. The stew is cooked in cauldrons
by the scouts, and a fraternity from
ENMU and the local Order of the Arrow lodge
pitching in to "create" this stew. It is a fun
weekend for all!

Buffalo Springs Waterpark- near Lubbock, TX.- We went over
to Lubbock to enjoy the waterpark and
relieve some to the summer heat. We also had the
opportunity to go the the Science Museum.
Unfortunately for us, we had to deal with tornados,
wind and lots of rain the
same weekend, but it was still a lot of fun.
