Chris Thorsteinson

A last minute collaboration with Bryan Potvin (of Northern Pikes fame) turned into pure gold for Doc Walker.

"He flew out to Winnipeg and came out to my house in Westbourne," says Thorsteinson. "We wrote three songs on the album with him. It was about a week before we started to record and we pretty much had all the songs. He came out to the house and we wrote the next single with him Get Up. I think it was over a case of beer and some road stories between the Northern Pikes and Doc Walker. After two hours of sitting there talking we had a song."
