:: At the Restaurant w/ Katie & Brian ::
“Good Evening,” the Headwaiter started, “well, if it isn't Brian Littrell, my long lost pal. You want the usual table?”
“Yes, please-thanks man.”
“You have a favorite table?” Katie asked.
“Yea,” Brian smiled, “I said I love this place.”
They walk to a table that is in the back corner w/ candles lit and Brian pulls out her chair and pushes her in.
“Wow,” Katie said amazed, “Thank-you Brian, this place is beautiful.”
“What can I get you & your 'new' girlfriend,” the headwaiter asked, “to drink?”
“Oh, she's not...” Brian was interrupted.
“I'll have some white wine,” Katie said, ”thanks.”
“I'll have the same,” Brian says as he looks at Katie.
“Ok, I'll be right back to take your order.”
“I didn't want you to look bad in front of him,” Katie explained, “so I played along to be your girlfriend.”
“Thanks,” Brian said gratefully, “but you didn't have to.”
“Don't mention it...do you know him? He seemed kinda snotty to you.”
“Yeah, I used to date his sister.”
“Oh, I see,” Katie laughs, “well, he is not gonna ruin our night cuz I want to have a good time.”
“Me too.”
They order dinner and talk for about an hour-until they realize its 8:30.
As they are ready to leave, Brian is just staring at Katie.
“What?” Katie questioned, “do I have something in my teeth?”
“No, No,” Brian smiled, “I just realized how beautiful your green eyes are.”
“Oh,” Katie blushes, “thank-you.”
“Damn, its 8:30,” Brian said standing up, “we better get going to the club.”
“Yeah,” Katie said now standing up too, “I wanna dance.”
“With me?” Brian asked.
“Of course.” Katie answered.
They walk out of the restaurant and drive towards the club.
:: At the Club ::
Everyone was sitting at the table for a breather except Ashley.
“What time is it?” Ally asked.
“Time for you to get a watch, babe.” AJ joked back.
“Ha Ha...Give me yours then!”
“Ha...it's 8:45 and no way honey!”
“Thanks-Katie & Brian should be here soon.”
“Yeah,” Nick stood up, “they should be.”
“I hope they had a great time.” Brie told everyone.
“Whatever.” Nick said mumbling.
“What Nick?” Brie asked.
“I said,” Nick turned to her, “yeah, me too.”
“Look here they come.” Kevin said.
Brian has his arm around Katie as they laughed the whole way to the table.
“Hey guys!” Katie said cheerfully.
“Someone is in a good mood.” Howie noted.
“Yup,” Katie responds, “much better.”
“So, any of you wanna dance with Katie,” Brian asked, “cuz I have to use the men's room.”
“I will!” Nick jumped up, “I mean, yeah sure.”
“I suddenly don't feel like dancing,” Katie said sitting down.
“C'mon, Please Katie?” Nick pleaded.
“All right,” Katie agreed, “but don't try anything.”
“I won't.” Nick promised.
Nick takes Katie to the dance floor. Suddenly, the fast song ends and 'I knew I loved you' by Savage Garden plays. Nick then pulls Katie closer as they look into each other's eyes.
“Katie, we need to talk.”
“Yea, we do,” she told Nick, “we sure do.”
“Listen, I am so sorry.”
Ashley comes and interrupts them.
“Hey, do you mind if I dance with my boyfriend?” Ashley said.
“Yeah sure,” Katie pulled away from Nick, “go ahead.”
“Oh Ashley,” Nick said, “this is Katie.”
“Oh, I am sorry, Katie. It's nice to meet you.”
“Its nice to meet you also, Ashley.”
“If you two wanna finish your dance,” Ashley said looking at them, “you can.”
“Nah, it's ok.” Katie chimed in, “I see Brian coming. Enjoy your dance.”
“Thanks,” Ashley smiled, “she is really sweet.”
“Yeah,” Nick agreed, “she is.”
Katie goes over to Brian as Nick watches her.
“Hey,” Brian waved to Katie, “wanna dance hun?”
“Yeah sure,” She pulled him out to the dance floor, “let's go over there.”
Brian & Katie start dancing as Nick stares them down. The fast music continued for a good amount of time. Then a slow song had to be played. Brian McKnight's 'Back at One' played over the speakers.
“I love this song,” Brian said, as he starts singing to Katie, “One, Your like a dream come true…Two, Just wanna be with you...”
“Brian,” Katie said between her laughs, “stop that!”
“I meant every word,” he said as pulled Katie closer and looked her in the eyes and with that he leaned in and kissed her lips slowly.
“Oh, wow, Brian...I, I don't know what to say.”
“Don't say anything,” Brian smiled, “just kiss me again and I'll know how you feel.”
They kiss again and at this point Nick is flipping out.
“What is going on over there?!” Nick screamed.
“Where?” Ashley looked.
“There!” Nick screams as he points to Katie & Brian.
“What's wrong,” Ashley wondered, “they are just kissing! Aren't you happy that your two friends are getting together?”
“Yeah,” Nick pretended to be happy for them, “its great. Let's go over to table to get a drink.”
Howie & Kevin were still dancing with some girls and Ally is dancing with some guy. Brie is on her way back to the table.
“Yo, Brie,” AJ asked, “is she always like that?”
“Who?” She questioned.
“Allyssa,” AJ pointed to her, “does she always dance with complete strangers like that?”
“Nah, only when she's trying to get a certain someone's attention.”
“Oh who?”
“Who do you think?” Brie says as she laughs.
“Me?” AJ says as he points to himself.
“Yeah...duh!” Brie smiles.
“Hey,” Nick said, “what's up?”
“Get out of my way,” AJ stormed by him, ”I've gotta do something.”
“Ok,” Nick looked stunned, “what's up w/ him?”
“He is going to try to hook up with Allyssa.” Brie told them.
“Damn!” Nick shouted, “who else is gonna hook up 2nite?!”
“What are you talking about?” Brie asked him.
“Look for yourself,” Ashley said as she pointed to Katie & Brian, “I think they make a pretty cute couple, don't you?”
“Uhmm,” Brie's mouth drops, “oh uhmm, Yeah, I guess.”
She looks over to Nick who is sitting at the table glaring at Brian & Katie on the dance floor.
“Hey Brie,” Ashley asks, “I have to use the ladies room, wanna join me?”
“Sure, but let's grab Ally on the way...I gotta tell her about Katie.”
“Ok. Hey Nick,” Ashley said waving at him, “you all right?”
Nick doesn't answer...he is still staring Katie & Brian.
“...Hello? Earth to Nick!”
“What?”
“Are you ok?”
“Yeah...just great.”
“All right...we're going to the ladies room.”
“Uhuh,” Nick said as he waved at them.
:: Flash to Allyssa & AJ ::
Allyssa is dancing it up with a total stranger...when AJ goes to the DJ to request Joe's 'I Wanna Know'.
“Hey,” AJ asks, “may I cut in?”
“Sure,” Ally says, “I guess.”
“So,” AJ asked, “why were you dancing like that with a complete stranger?”
“Like what AJ?” Ally acted all innocent, “what ever do you mean?”
“You know what I mean.” AJ said.
“What's it to you? You’re acting like you're my boyfriend or something.”
“Yeah, well...I may not be your boyfriend but I didn't like it.”
“Well, that's just tough...isn't it?”
“Ok, I didn't ask you to dance, so we could fight.”
“We're not fighting--just discussing.”
“Good, I'm glad.”
They grow quiet for a few minutes-then AJ sings the chorus of ' I Wanna Know ' to Allyssa. Allyssa feels like she could melt right there and wants to be with AJ as soon as possible. AJ realizes this and keeps whispering it into her ear...until Brie & Ashley interrupt them.
“Hey...sorry guys,” Brie apologized, “but Allyssa we need to talk to you.”
“All right,” Ally tried to ignore them, “in a few.”
“Uhmm,” Brie continued, “how about now in the ladies room?”
“You better go,” AJ broke away from her, “and we'll continue this dance later.”
“Ok,” Ally agrees, “thanks AJ.”
“No problem, baby.”
“So,” Ally looks at them, “calm down guys! And what's up? It betta be good cuz...”
“Look over there!” Brie turns Ally's head to see Katie & Brian.
“Holy Shh...Let's go, we gotta talk.”
:: Back at the Table ::
Kevin, Howie and AJ come to the table.
“Hey Nick,” AJ said.
“Uh, yeah...Hi.”
“Are you all right, man?” Howie asked.
“Yeah, you look kinda pale.” Kevin chimed in.
“Of course, I am NOT okay!” Nick screams, as he points to Katie & Brian, “My girl, My love is out there with Brian...kissing!”
“Ouch,” Kevin looked at him, “sorry Frack.”
“Yeah, man,” AJ just had to throw his two cents in, “the correct way to say that is Brian's girl, Brian's love is out there with him...kissing!”
Nick just glares at AJ.
:: Girls in the Bathroom ::
“So,” Ally asks, “when did that happen?”
“A few minutes ago,” Ashley told her, “Nick saw them.”
“And he pointed it out to me,” Brie said, “and that is when I got you.”
“I can't believe it...and all this time I thought she still had feelings for,” Brie stopped herself, “Nevermind.”
“Nick?” Ashley asked.
“Yeah,” Brie answered, “they went out a few years ago but she moved away and they lost touch.”
“And when he kissed her earlier...I though she was in love with him again,” Ally realized what she just said in front of Ashley, “oops!”
“Allyssa!” Brie said as she covered her face.
“Nah, don't worry,” Ashley said, “that's just great news!”
“Huh?” Brie and Ally said as they looked at each other.
“Yeah, I've been trying to find away to break-up with Nick. Ya see...my ex-BF, Jason, and I have been seeing each other again for the past month now and we want to make it work this time.”
“Oh my me,” Ally said, “so, are you gonna tell Nick?”
“I guess so...It's the perfect time.”
They leave the bathroom.
:: Katie & Brian ::
“Wanna take a breather?” Brian asked Katie.
“Yes,” she told him, ”I need a drink too.”
“All right, what kind, babe?”
“Uhmm, just grab me a soda.”
“You got it...meet ya at the table.”
He kisses her cheek as he goes to the bar. Katie heads towards the table where everyone is.
“Hey guys--everyone having a good nite?”
They all stare at her.
“...What?”
“So,” Ally had to ask her, “you and Brian are kinda close now, huh?”
“Yeah,” she answered, “he is a real sweetheart.”
“I think,” Ashley had to throw in her two cents, “you two make a cute couple.”
“Awwa,” she says as she blushes, “thanks.”
“Here you go hun,” Brian returned with the drinks, “one soda for you & a wine cooler for me.”
“Thanks Brian.”
“No Problem, so, what's up with everybody?”
“Not too much B,” Kevin answers, “we were thinking of all heading out soon.”
“Sounds good to me.” Brian said, “I can take the girls home, well, to their hotel.”
“Great B.” Kevin said.
“Not great B,” AJ turns to Ally, “Allyssa wanna go out after?”
“Sure...I'd love too. But we'll drop Brie off first.”
“Ok,” Howie said standing up from the table, “it is almost midnight.”
“Aight,” AJ stands up too, “I'll see you all later---uhmm, Allyssa and Brie...let's go!”
“Sure,” the girls get up, “we're ready.”
“Sweet,” AJ smiles, “see'ya guys.”
They leave.
“Well, me,” Kevin stood up, “and Howie are gonna leave too. I gotta get up early for a writing session with the producers.”
“Oh,” Nick spoke his first words since Katie & Brian came to the table, “good luck man.”
“Thanks,” Howie and Kevin said, “See you Guys.”
“Well, Katie,” Brian said rubbing her back, “let's head out.”
“Well, Katie, “ Ashley said, “I really have to hang out with you all especially you cuz I didn't have much time with you tonight.”
“Ok, definitely,” Katie smiled, “I'd like that.”
They all walk to the cars and say 'Bye' as they get in their respective cars.
:: Nick and Ash's Car ::
“Nick, I have to tell you something...” Ashley said as she looked over at him.
:: Brian & Katie ::
“Katie, I have to tell you something..” Brian said as he looked at her.
“Really? What is it?”
