Troupe Hareem Shar’eem, a group of musicians and dancers based in Cleveland, Ohio, embodies the spirit and the joy of the dance. The troupe consists of six members: Delilah, Calliope, Jezebel, Maysuun as-Shemsh, Sahla and Shirasaya. These six performers bring their creative unity to both traditional and contemporary Middle Eastern dance including tribal, cabaret, Rom and Egyptian styles of dance. Troupe Hareem Shar’eem is very active in the Cleveland dance community. In addition to sponsoring the occasional hafla for local Middle Eastern dance enthusiasts, Hareem Shar’eem has performed at restaurants, private parties, parades and festivals.
