Brandon was born on June 26, 1997. He was full term and weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and was 19 inches long. He was diagnosed with Autism on May 18, 2004 at the UC Davis Mind Institute. Troy and I already knew that something wasn't right by the time Brandon was 2, and knew that he was autistic by the time he was 4, but family, friends, strangers, and even his doctor left us to believe that he would just "grow out of it". So we kept putting it off and with having another baby during this time it slowed us to pursue the matter. The most important thing is that Brandon is a healthy, bright, beautiful, loving boy who is loved by his mommy and daddy. |
