1. My Creation Myth
“The Sun and the Moon” by Daniel S.

In the beginning there was only the sun and the moon. Also two gods named Subik and Tebook. Subik is the god of the sun and Tebook is the god of the moon.

One day Tebook and Subik were fighting. While they were fighting they accidentally tore off each of their skin and it landed on the earth. The skin also made a figure that can walk and talk.

So the figure says, “Why are you guys fighting?”

So Tebook says, “He won’t let me shine bright. The sun always takes over the sky.”

The sun and moon told the figure what happened. Then they asked the figure what his name was.

“Te-Man.” he said. “And what is your name?”

“My name is Tebook and this is Subik.”

Then everyone sat there thinking of what they should do about it.

Then Te-Man said, “I got it!”

“Subik, you should shine during the morning and day, and Tebook, you should shine during the night.”

They cheered!

When he awoke he saw two pairs of each animal, three other people, one of each tree, and two houses made of bark.

The reason why those things appeared is because the sun and the moon weren’t fighting any more.

That was their reward.
