My Creation Myth
by Nicholas C.
THE CREATION

ONCE upon a time the gods lived up in the clouds; nothing but clouds and sky; their ruler the supreme God

TRAVIS THE GREAT

He ruled everything you could see, but at that time there was no earth, but every thing was good as it was. The gods could fly in the air and do whatever they wanted. TRAVIS the Great was the all-mighty thunder God, his hair blazed with lightning and he had the perfect body form. He had the best kingdom in the universe and a beautiful castle. It was all gold and it was so shiny that people could see it from billions of miles away, but no one could touch it. They could only look at it for a couple of seconds or else they could become blind.

Everything was peaceful for a while, but one day when Travis was riding on his chariot, the Dark and their ruler Hades attacked his kingdom, and kidnapped the Goddess of beauty, Amy. Hades imprisoned her in the underworld and did not let her escape.

When Travis came back and heard the news he was mad with rage and he didn’t know what to do. He thought, and thought and suddenly “bang”!!!! He knew it…. He should sent his most cunning messenger, Nick, who can go and rescue the Goddess Amy. He went and called Nick and told him of his plan and he agreed.

Nick went down into the underworld. When he got there and he saw a river and a boat, he got in it and started rowing and rowing along. He looked around. It was very dark in the underworld. It was sort of a cave like place in the middle of nowhere. He realized that the river was just floating along on thin air. He didn’t like that feeling. He liked a place that had more light.

He was approaching a weird cloud with a throne on top of it. As soon as he saw it, he dove into the river because he knew what it was. It was Hades throne and it had two eyes and whatever it saw it would tell Hades, and if it did there would be no way to get out. He started to swim under water. He popped his head out and he looked at the throne. It was asleep. Nick looked around and saw Amy.

He quickly got out of the water and went to rescue Amy. She was in a cage. He knelt and prayed to Travis to send a Lightning bolt to hit the bars, hoping Amy could be free. Suddenly “bang,” the lighting hit the bars and she was free. After, Nick heard a shout saying, “ Hades… come….’’

Nick ran and grabbed Amy’s hand and started to fly through the underworld and out of it. They went out, and Amy looked back and saw Hades and his whole army following them. “I’m dead,” thought Nick.

But suddenly, they saw a chariot come into view. It was the all mighty thunder god, Travis the Great, with his whole army. Nick dove down. The two armies crashed together and fought.

The war lasted for a month, but at the end of the war Travis cut Hades head of and he took it and put it a couple billion miles away. He could always see it, and he made that the world. Then he took his toes and cut them up into little pieces and he made that the people. When he was finished he went to the skies and rested.
