Once nothing existed but the sea, the sky and the air between it. Everything had a god. Murdok the god of the sky, his goddess and wife Kisha {the godess of love and war}. His very unhappy daughter, Meg, she also possessed the powers her parents did. The gods of the sea were Ishta {the dumb but polite} and Shuma his brother {Smart and RUDE.}. Togerther they ruled the sea.
Meg felt alone and began falling in love with another god, and on top of all that her parents expected so much of her. Finally one day it hit her to create people, animals, trees earth, and villages and to watch it happen before her eyes. Then she thought ......but how? She approached her mother and said,``Mother, do you love me?”
“But of Course,” She replied.
“I found a way to make you and daddy happy. See I wish to Make trees, people, land, and animals, and you and Daddy could rule. The only question is how?”
“I had an old friend who was a prophetess. Unfortunately I killed her. She gave me a ball for help.” Kisha went to her room and brought out a mystical ball. She began to speak to it and said, “O ball help us. What do we need to make a new world?”
It began to glow, then suddenly it began to speak........
‘’You will need blood from another, rocks from the ocean for mountains, sand from the ocean floor for land, and sea weed for trees. It will recreate itself,’’ said the ball.
Then the light faded. Meg began to dive after dive for the supplies. First she collected the sea weed, rocks and the sand in a bag.
“MOM,” Meg yelled. “I need the ball.”
Kisha approached and said, ” Here Meg.”
“O, ball what do I do?”
It began to glow, then suddenly it said ......
“First you need the blood of another,” the ball said, then it faded.
“Who can I kill ...... Shuma.” Shuma attacked Meg with a wave. Meg threw a lighting bolt to the water and shocked Shuma . Shuma was overwellmed with pain. Shuma fell to the ocean floor. Meg again atached the rope to the sky and clinbed down. Meg took a sea shell and cut Shuma and filled the vial of blood. Meg climbed up the rope. She took the ball and said, “now what?”
“Throw the sand to the sea where you want the land. Throw the rocks for mountains.”
“The sea weed for the trees. The blood and the hair from a superior and it will create itself. It began to shake. Everthing slowly appeared ... The people said in a chant, “The Great land.” Meg threw the ball into the sky and split it to make what is now the sun and the moon.
Now whenever you look into the sky you’ll see Meg’s crystal ball lighting up the moon and the sun, and the chips of it to make the stars.......
