The movie starts out with a girl having a baby. A man takes the girl to a town. A hole crowd of people came to see her and comfort her through labor. She has the baby it is a boy. When the baby comes out the father takes him to see the whole kingdom. That same day people came from far away places.
The grandmother says it is a war. Oddyseus the father goes to pray for the war then he goes to see his wife and son. He kiss’s her goodbye. He can’t promise that he will be back. Then he tells a girl to take care of his son and wife.
While he is on his ship he talks to his savor. His goddess tells him about his trip. Then she leaves and they go to war.
A challenge is set for the best worrier. The Greeks wanted to surrender but Oddssyea’s has a plan.
A guy gets eaten buy a sea serpent. Then the movie shows all of the warriors going into the kingdom.
When the enemy is sleeping they go and attack.
Then Oddsea’s talks to on of the gods. Then Telemachus(Oddyseus’s son) gets into trouble.
Oddyseus arrives at shore.
A guy found cheese. They found a place to stay.
When they were picking up sticks they saw a giant Cyclops. The Cyclops eats a guy. Then Oddyseus gives him some wine. The Cyclops drinks all the wine and falls asleep. A guy sticks a spear in his eye and he becomes blind.
One guy gets left behind and then he gets eaten. The Cyclops throws a rock at them and then he goes back to the sea.
They reach another island. The island they reach is the island of the god wind. He gives Oddysea’s the wind of the west. He gets back on the boat and goes back to Ithaca. He sends a bird to his wife Penelope.
When he falls asleep all the crew member try to open the sack. Up ahead they see Ithaca. They open the sack and all the crew member fly out. They get blown farther away from Ithaca. All the crew members go to find food. One guy finds clams and another guy finds a pig.
A guy told them that their are on the island of the witch. The witch turned all the other crew members into animals. Oddyseus goes to find the witch. He comes across a bear and a monkey that are really part of his crew. Then the gods messenger comes and talks to him and tells him what will happen next. He arrives at the witches house and he drinks her wine. She asks him to take her to bed. He goes to bed with her and his men are changed back.
Oddyseus’s mother wants to go and die in the sea because she thinks Oddyseus is dead. Penelope doesn’t want her to die. She kills herself anyway.
Penelope has memories of her and Oddyseus. Oddyseus finds out that he has been in the witches castle for 5 years.
His ship is buried. He tells his men to wake up. Then the witch tells him to go find a guy and then she can tell him how to get home. 2 men tell Telemachus that his father is dead.
Oddyseus goes to the land of the dead, to talk to a guy. Only 1 man goes through the land of the dead. Oddyseus enters the land of the dead with a ram for sacrifice. He gives the ram to one of the under world gods. He tells Oddyseus how to get home.
Then he sees his mother in the land of the dead. She tells him about Penelope.
A bunch of men try to get Penelope, and gives her gifts. Penelope is making a rug and if Oddyseus is not back when she finishes than she will chose another husband.
Oddyseus enters a cave and monster comes out and attacks one of the men. One of the men through a goat out of the boat and the monster eats it. They try to leave but the monster worpool tries to get them. A lot of people die.
All of the men die except for Oddyseus who floats to the island of the goddess Claypaso. She tells Oddyseus that he is home.
Oddyseus has a lot of nightmares. He starts to cry. They go to bed together.
Telemuchs wants to kill all of the men who wants his mother. They say that Penelope has to chose another husband.
Then Telemuchs says that he wants to get a ship. Then a ship comes to the island. He goes to the ship but the girls bring him back. Isthmus tells Telemachus where to go. Cylepso tells Oddyseus that he can leave. He makes a ship so he can go back to Penelope.
One of the guys goes to Penelope’s room and talks to her. He wants to take her to bed, but she wont. She loves her husband.
All of the men tear up the tapestry and burn it. Oddyseus leaves Cylpaso cries. She wants him to stay as her husband.
Telemachus goes to see this god to ask him about his father Oddyseus. The god tells him that his dad is dead. He then tells him to go back home.
Oddyseus’s boat gets destroyed during the storm. Oddyseus calls out to Osaian.
He says that he wants to him to suffer but not die. He is back on the island Ithaca. He hugs a guy. She watches a bird fly in the air.
Odysseus’ son has a beard. He doesn’t believe that his dad is alive.
Odysseus tells his son about when he was little and then he believes that he is his father.
A lady says that he thinks Penelope is not true to him. She also tells him to go to his palace and see.
The prince returns to his home and everyone sees that he has a beard. The prince goes to tell his mom that he has not found him.
The men fight and the beggar wants to see but they will not let him. The beggar sees a maid that is going to tend to him. The maid sees a scar and she says she knows that scar.
He says something and then Penelope is really quiet. She says that whoever can shoot the bow through all the holes will take Odysseus’ place.
The beggar takes the bow and shoots it through the holes. He is no beggar now he is Odysseus! His son kills some people. One of them asks what their crime was he answers that they tried to take his world away and no one will ever take his world away.
Odysseus kills 2 people with 1 arrow. Penelope hears that Odysseus is home. She hugs him and he promises that he will never go again.
