Narrator: When Selene and Athena were little they wanted to be warriors. They would wrassle and play with weapons safely.

Selene: Do you want to wrassle?

Athena: Sure, but you are going to get beat again.

Selene: What? Get beat again? You are crazy.

Athena: Isn’t that getting old, being beaten all the time?

Selene: You never beat me.

Gaea: Stop it right now, both of you.

Selene: She started it.

Athena: No, she did.

Gaea: If you want to become women warriors, then you should leave Sparta at once and go on an adventure.

Selene: Where should we go?

Athena: I know. We should go to the forest of Heroes. Or maybe even the forest of adventure.

Selene: Well, I don't know. I was thinking something with more trees. Maybe even the forest of flowers.

Athena: I guess that would be ok. I think we should go to the forest of Olympia. I have always wanted to go there ever since I have been a little girl.

Selene: Yeah, I have wanted to go there, too, ever since I heard there were long flowing streams.

Athena: We should take some weapons because there are wild animals in the forest that could hurt us.

Selene: Yeah, you are right. Plus I have to say good bye to my mom and dad.

Narrator: As they were getting ready to leave, Gaea came and wished them good luck on their adventure. Then they said their good-byes and left Sparta heading for the forests of Olympia. On the way to the forest they meet a trader. They trade for more food because they’re not sure if they could kill anything in the woods. So they continued on to get closer and closer to the forests of Olympia.

ACT 2
by Ryanne

Narrator: Selene and Athena traveled into the forest Olympia.

Selene: Are you scared?

Athena: No, are you?

Selene: Of course not.

Narrator: The ladies came to the end of the forest. They stopped to eat.

Athena: This is good. What is it?

Selene: Some bat eyes, and some lizard guts. Good, huh?

Narrator: Athena lost her appetite.

Athena: Yeah, good.

Narrator: Athena said sarcastically. The girls became tired.

Selene: Would you like some dinner?

Athena: No, thanks, I’m still full from lunch.

Selene: Suit yourself.

Narrator: The girls were going to practice their fighting on each other. Meanwhile Rhea was trying to make peace.

Rhea: Calm down.

Aphrodite and Rhea: ( They both say ) Well, maybe she should keep her nose out of other people’s business. Hay.

Rhea: ( Loudly ) Just shut up.

Narrator: And the girls did just that.

Gaea : ( Calms down ) I don’t like your attitude. You're fired. Good-Bye.

Narrator: Selene and Athena leave Olympia.

ACT 3
by Melissa L.

Narrator: The two knew that they were going to come up against something soon because they were quite a ways away from their home town Sparta, and they had come up against nothing yet. Boy, were they right. They smelled something... it was DIRTY GYM SOCKS! Just kidding. They really came up against something else that was a lot worse.

Selene: I have a very bad feeling about this. BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!

Athena: RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!

Cyclopes(Rhea): (Low voice) You can run, but you can’t hide. I mean you Selene and Athena!

Narrator: The two looked at each other as they knew they must face the monster.

Athena: Betcha can’t find us!

Selene: If he can’t find us we have to find him.

Narrator: So the two faced the evil monster.

Selene: I have an idea: you run around him so he gets confused and I’ll tie his hands behind his back. After that we’ll blindfold him.

Narrator: The two friends defeated the Cyclops. Selene and Athena enter the forest. Little did they know that the Peacemaker Rhea had been fired from her job; she also had a lot of stress that she needed to burn off.

Selene: (Both turn around) Did you hear that?

Athena: No?!? (hesitantly)

Rhea: (Rhea jumps out of the bushes) RAAHH!! Prepare to battle and to die.

Narrator: As they battle Rhea grows tired and surrenders just as she was about to get killed (Rhea waves a white flag). But before they could decide, Rhea ran away.

Both: Come back here if you are man enough!! We mean WOman enough! ( They walk towards the town because they must find a place to stay and eat.)

Gaea: (floats down) If you want to fight a battle you must invite me next time.... just kidding, you must outwit her. (floats away)

Narrator: As soon as the friends ate and laid down to sleep they went right to sleep. The next morning they woke up and were ready to fight.

ACT 4
by Laura K.

Narrator: They re-enter the forest.

Rhea: I want a rematch! Now!

Selene: OK! We will fight again! (angrily)

Narrator: So they fight again.

Selene: (Selene, Rhea and Athena draw their swords) Ah! Die, Rhea! (madly)

Athena: (whispering in her ear) Selene, go over there and hide behind that rock. (pointing at a rock) Then I will get Rhea to go over there and you will jump out from behind the rock and attack her.

Selene: (whispering back at Athena) OK, I will do that. (quickly Selene goes over to rock and she hides behind it. Selene gets ready to attack Rhea. Athena gets Rhea to go over near the rock. Selene jumps out from behind the rock.)

Rhea: Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

Selene: Prepare to die!

Rhea: (reacts quickly and fights back) No, you are going to die first!

Athena: (joins in the battle and helps Selene) I will help you Selene! (actively)

Selene: Get ready to die Rhea! (angrily)

Rhea: I’m not going to die, Selene. I will never die. (out of breath)

Athena: You are going to die any minute now.

Selene: Cha! I hit her! Yes!

Rhea: I, I, I, I can’t breathe. Ahhhhhh!!!! (stumbling)

Athena: Yes, she is dead!

Selene: Haha, sucker!

Athena: Yes, we killed her.

Selene: You mean I killed her.

Athena: Hey, I helped.

Selene: Fine. I know you helped, too.

Selene: Do you think we should give her a proper burial?

Athena: We should give her one because, you know, she fought the battle and she tried. (willing)

Narrator: So they gave Rhea a proper burial. They buried her in the forest. They went to the nearest town, they ate and they slept. The next day they went into the forest and they were looking for anything left in the forest to fight. They didn’t find anything. Then suddenly they heard a noise. It was the Goddess Gaea.

Gaea: You have done well. I will grant you both the gift of Immortality.

Athena: Thank you, Gaea!

Selene: Ya, thanks, Gaea!

Gaea: You are very welcome!

Narrator: Selene and Athena traveled back to their homeland. They spread the good news of their immortality. They accomplished their goal. They became woman warriors. They had a big feast.

Athena: Yum!!! This food is great.

Selene: Quit pigging out on food, Athena!

Athena: Hey! Look at you!

Narrator: They finished their feast and the Goddess Gaea floated down from the heavens.

Gaea: Something has happened to Rhea! I have made her a servant for the Gods.

Athena: We killed her, though. (questioned)

Gaea: We brought her back from the dead. She promised never to be bad again.

Narrator: Rhea turned good and helped Selene and Athena. Selene and Athena lived forever and they lived as women warriors.
