1519, Spain army is going to the new world for gold. Two explorers gamble for a map to El Dorado. They rolled a seven and won the map. Guards come saying they didn’t win. They fake fight by telling each other that it was the other ones fault. They jumped over a building only to be in a bulls cage. They are now running from a bull and the guards.
They found a place to hide, which happened to be barrels. These barrels were loaded onto a ship that sailed to the new world. They were caught and locked into a cell on the ship.
That night they discovered a plan. The plan was to bribe a horse with an apple and told him to get a pry bar. The horse then through down the keys. They were leaving in a rowboat when the horse jumped in the water. They saved the horse and rowed away. Then a storm came. They washed away and had no chance of getting to El Dorado. They floated to an island. It just happened that it was the New World. They cut their way through the jungle. They had to go over obstacles like: leaches, paranoias, and monkeys stealing clothes. They fell off a cliff only to see El Dorado. A great big rock. The natives came and showed them to the city of El Dorado. There were big temples and natives everywhere. Then a volcano erupted. He said stop and it stopped. Now the natives thought they were gods. They climbed to the top of the temple. They talk about plan and girl hears. She wants some of the gold when they get it. She also thinks that she can help them. She was going to rat them out when they let her in on it.
They pretended to be gods. The city then through a party for the “GODS.” Music is plaid and they bowed to them. The night passes and they are accompanied by the whole city.
The people sacrificed a person to them. They didn’t want that to happen because they were not gods. So they stopped the ceremony. Instead the tribute gold. “To Shibaba,” they said. So they poor gold into the whirlpool of Shibaba. They stopped the ceremony again. They then give the gold to the explorers.
They ask the chief for a ship to get them back to Spain. They have to wait three days. They don’t have that long because Cortez and his expedition were almost here. He plays music and children come to listen. He walks around and sees people playing happily.
Then he finds out that a man came to their house and wanted to have a sacrificial ceremony but they refuse the offer. Spain troops are still coming.
They were walking and the people wanted them to play ball in the stadium. They play against a team of natives. They play for a long time before anybody scored. Then the natives started wasting. Armadillo plays ball and goes in. The explorers won.
The ship was finally finished. Bad people make potion. The potion creates a stone jaguar. Jaguar attacks gods. They run into volcano and jaguar falls in.
He comes out and suspiciously stops. The jaguar falls off a cliff with man that tried to kill them. explorers stay alive. One decides to stay. One explorer is going to leave. Cortez’ is still on the move. Make plan. They block entrance with pillar so Cortez can’t get in. It forces both of them to leave. They went back to Spain being heroes of the city of El Dorado.
