69. Observatory at Monte Alban. Its main axis lies at an angle exactly 45 degrees east of north, i.e. due northeast. In the interior, there is a tunnel which deviates exactly 17 degrees from due north, this time in a westerly direction. Such precise alignments could well have been used for the purposes of observation of celestial bodies.
