The Prince Of Egypt
By Melissa C.

Once upon a time there was a kingdom. The Egyptain masters had slaves and they treated them badly. They were very mean to them. They would hit them with whips. They would tell them to work harder. There was a day when they would take the new born babies and feed them to the crocodiles. But one of the slaves took her son and took him to river and sang him a lullaby and he floated down the river.

When he got older and they found him again then he would remember his mother and brother and his sister. On his way down the river he was in a big twist that lead him to the castle, and the Queen of Egypt took him and kept him.

He was getting into trouble, but they did not blame him. They blamed his brother for all of the bad things Moses would do. I guess they just like to blame the older kids for the young one’s mistakes.

One day a girl came to the castle when the brother was the ruler of the temples. They tried to give Rameses the girl, but he gave it to his brother Moses. Take her to my room, Moses told the servents, and dry her off. I will see you later, he told the girl. Later that night he went to his room to see the girl and she had escaped, so he saw where she escaped from and he went down the rope.

He saw the guards and said, guards look in my room. When they left he told her she could go. She left. When he was outside there were 2 slaves. One of them said, I am your sister, Moses.

Moses said, that is nonsense. I am a prince and you are a slave. How can you be my sister? You will pay for this, you distressful slave. Please sir, my sister is very sick. Don't listen to her. She does not know what she is talking about. Yes, I do, replied Miriam. You are my brother.

What! They didn’t tell you anything about finding you in the water. No, you are lying, slave. You will pay. Please sir, no. Fine, I will not tell anyone, but leave me alone, he told the man. Then Miriam sang the song that her mother sang to Moses before he left into the castle. He remembered the song. He ran.

The next day he told his mother to tell him the truth. So she did and he got very upset. He ran away into the desert. There was this camel that was deserted so he dragged alongside of it, and the camel took him to water. There were three girls there. There were some guys listening to them. So he said, hey are these your camels? They replied, yes, they are. Why do you ask? Because there they go.

The two men ran after them. Then Moses fell into the water and the three girls tried to get him out but they could not get him out. Their mother came along and she said, what are you girls up to? We are trying to get this man out of the well.

Ya right, their mother said. I haven't heard that one yet. Oh my, there is a man down there. Hold on and I will get you out. He came to the top and she saw that he was the prince and she dropped him back into the well. The girls got him back out and they gave him a bath and gave him food and he lived with them for a while.

While he lived with them Moses and their mother fell in love. Moses went back to the empire to see his brother and he also took the mom with him because she wanted to go with him. So he let her go. When he got there Moses’ brother was very happy to see him. He told him about every thing and then they became enemies.

But God was on Moses side, so he did not have to worry about anything because no one is stronger than God, he told his brother. But his brother just laughed at him. You will see, he told his brother, you will see. I guess I will, he told his brother. I guess I will.

The next day Ramases was sailing and Moses said, I want you to free my people. Rameses said, very funny, I will not free your people. Guards go get him. The guards came after him. Moses put his staff in the water and the water became blood. They were very terrified, so they swam fast back to the boat.

Now God told Moses about all of the babies that will be taken away from their parents. Put the blood of a lamb at the top of each door to protect the Hebrew babies, and I will come take only the Egyptian babies away. God came and took the babies and then when all of the Egyptian people woke up and their babies were gone and all already knew where they were.

God had killed the pharaoh’s child for all of the bad things he had done. Moses went to see him and asked him if he would free the slaves. He said, take them, I don’t need them anymore. They are of no use to me anymore.

Moses said, Remases, are you ok? I will stay to help you. Just leave alone I dont need your help just go .

Moses then left with his slaves. He left the village but what they didn't no was. that the guards and Remases where going to come. To try to kill them. On there way from travailing they came to this water that was very wide. The people said, how are we going to get through it? Don't worry we will get through.

Then Rameses came with his guards. So God put down a big fire tornado. So then the slaves and Moses could go through the water. Then Moses and the slaves were in the water and the water began to part. They were in the middle of the water, and it started to come down.

Then guards and Rameses came to try to kill them. Then the other people and Moses saw light, so they got out of the water and they were safe from the Egyption masters and Rameses. They were also safe for another reason: no one could ever make them slaves again. They built a village and they lived there happily and they had no problems again.

The End !
