Facts:
Egypt believes in lots of gods.
Egypt has slaves to do all the work for them. They whip the slaves if they don’t go fast enough.
Moses and his people believe only in one god.
Egypt has a lot of pyramids in their country.
They make pyramids with blocks of stone.
The pharaohs are the kings of the country.
Egypt has been there before the Hebrew God was known.

Prince of Egypt
Prince of Egypt is about a baby boy that gets carried away in a stream. He shows up at a king’s palace and they keep him as a son.
The king and the queen name the boy Moses. When Moses grew up he got in a lot of trouble.
Then they captured a lady named Tzipporah from her house and the next thing you know she runs away. Then Moses follows her and he meets his real sister and real brother. Moses doesn’t believe that they are his real brother and sister, so his sister sings a song. Then Moses believes them. Moses finds out that he isn’t a real prince. He is a slave. He would have died.
Then the king died and Rameses is king. Moses can’t stand that his people are getting hurt . So he ran away so he didn’t have to see them getting hurt.
When Moses ran away he ended up in Tzipporah’s town. Then a few weeks later Moses and Tzipporah got married and they went back to Egypt to free their people because God told them to.
So Rameses freed his people and they went home. The Hebrew, Moses’ people, crossed the Red Sea and the Egyptians followed and died.
Moses and his people lived happily ever after!
