Once upon a life time there lived a great pharaoh named Telemkey. Telemkey was 23 years old and was married to Cynthia who was 19 years old. Those are my parents.
They had been married for 5 years when Cynthia,my mom, found out she was going to have a baby. Me!
She had me at 5:01 p.m. the night of the 9th month. they named me Kalacy. It was my great grandmothers name. They call me Kal for short.
“Kal come inside now your father and I are going to talk to you about something very important.”,My mother called.
“What now, You always want to tell me something.” I Replied.
“Your mother is going to have another baby and it is going to be a boy.”,Telemkey. said.
“This way when Telemkey’s rule is over a boy can take over so you don’t have to.”,Cynthia told me
“Why can’t I take over, I am older?”, I said with a sigh.
“You are a girl and it would be better for a boy to take over, boys are stronger and they have better battling skills.”, My parents told me.
I can learn how to battle well and who says that all boys are stronger then girls.”,I said.
My mother told me to go to bed and that we would talk more about it in the morning.
That night I dreamed that i was the pharaoh and I was the nicest pharaoh and most fair pharaoh in ancient Egyptian time. People would bring me flowers and worship all day long.
When I woke up my mother was standing in the room talking to my father. without them knowing I grabbed my cloths and ran out the back door.
They were talking about what is going to happen when Telemkey ends his rule. My mother was trying to convince my father to let me rule, but my father would not listen.
He kept saying, “NO, absolutely positively not. She is a girl and I will not leave the throne to a girl even if she is the most powerful strongest girl alive she is still a girl!,”
I stood out side listing to there conversation. I started to cry and i ran off to the pyramids. I sat down and continued to cry.
I kept saying “Why doesn't he accept me I try so hard to empress him, but nothing works. If only he could understand what i am feeling right now maybe then he would appreciate me more!”
Just then a boy walked up and told me that he had been listening to me and wanted to know if there is any thing he could do to help.
I felt really embarrassed and told him that nothing was wrong.
I ran off and ran back home. When I got there my mother was waiting for me and asked me where I was. I told her that I had gone down to the river.
She didn’t believe me so I told her that I went and saw Cilia. Cilia is my best friend. She still didn’t believe me so I told her the truth. I told her that I over herd her and Telemkey talking.
I also told her why I was crying because I was still crying at the time. I told her about the boy also.
The next day I went out to the pyramids to see if the boy was there. With my luck he probably wasn't going to be there. To my surprise he was. We talked for hours but I never caught his name. It was starting to get late so I decided to tell him good night and go home.
“Good night,”I said.
Then he said, “Good night! By the way if you were wondering my name is Telk. What is yours?, “
“My name is Kalacy! Kal for short! I am the pharaoh Telemkey’s daughter,” I said.
“Wow! I am talking to the pharaoh’s daughter,” he said in a shocking voice.
Well I had better be going my mother gets suspicious if I am out to late,” I told him.
“Ok! Remember tomorrow at 8:00 in the morning here. Please come,” Telk told me.
Telk and I hung out together every day. We snuck out early every day to meet each other by the pyramids. One day I couldn't go and see Telk because my mother Cynthia was having her baby. It was a little boy and they named him Kiyic.
Every month Telemkey would take Kiyic to see the priests. They would make sure that he doesn't get sick and to make sure that he grows up big and strong.
On Kiyic’s 5th birthday Telemkey took him outside everyday to get trained until he was 15. On his 15th birthday Telemkey. told him that he was finally ready to become pharaoh!
When I found out I was not very happy because I still wanted to take over. Kiyic was always teasing me because I wanted to take over but I knew that I couldn't and that he could.
The first thing I did when I found out that Kiyic was going to take over was run and tell Telk.
Telk and I had grown more and more fond of each other the last 15 years and when ever something was wrong the other was always there to help and make the other one feel better .
Telk suggested that we go and talk to Cynthia, but I didn’t think that she could do anything about it so I didn’t. Telk did on the other hand. He told her every thing.
“I will see what I can do, but I can’t guaranty any thing,” Cynthia said
That night Cynthia went to talk to Telemkey. She was asking him if he could at least give me a chance. He said no. He said that he has been training Kiyic for 15 years and is not going to just give everything up to a girl.
When Cynthia came up to tell me what he had said I knew that he wasn't going to let me take over. I could tell with the expression on her face.
She told me every thing that he had said. Telk and I were very upset especially me. I really wanted to take over and didn't know what I could do to make him understand.
So the next day I went and talked to him. He started yelling at me and said that he was tired of every one asking him to give me a chance. After hours of arguing with each other he finally said fine you will have to beet Telk in a number of tasks and challenges. The challenges come first. There will be 3 challenges.
The first challenge is to stay out in the pyramids for 8 days straight 100 miles away from each other and the nearest town.
The 8 days went by very quickly. We both came back fine.
The second challenge was to go with out water for 4 days straight.
We both came back dehydrated but ok.
The third challenge is to stay awake for 10 days (no sleep).
We both made it barley, and we both slept for a very long time after words.
Next was the tasks. There was 4 tasks to complete and we only had 5 days for the first 3.
The first task is to find a stable husband,wife for Kiyic. I married Telk. Kiyic found this little Oriental girl named Key-Key.
The second task is to find a stable home. Telk and I found a little home near the river.
Kiyic and Key-Key found a little house outside of town.
The third task is to have 2 children. Telk and I had 2 girls,Jewel and Daizy. Kiyic and Key-Key had one boy and one girl. The girl was Caliy and the boy was Siesy.
The forth task was to go into the haunted tombs and stay there for 3 days and 3 night. It is to be said that if any one enters the tombs without being worthy of being pharaoh will get deathly ill.
When I came out I was perfectly fine. When Kiyic came out he was very sick . He had to be taken to the priests to be healed. He was fine afterwards.
I was so excited that I was pharaoh that we all had a big celebration except for Kiyic and his little family they all went home. I ruled for 38 years. And was one of the best rulers ever.
