| 12/03/05 Okay, first off we'd like to mention the new site layout. Secondly, we've got a few shows coming up. Our first show ever is on December 16th in Massapequa Park so if you can get out there to watch us play that would be really cool. We are also playing a Battle of the Bands in Levittown....for complete details check the shows section. I know we have said it a million times but we are recording our full length over the Christmas Vacation. It should be out by Late Spring/Early Summer. 10/18/05 - TRSM and the Emergenza Festival We were recently were asked to take part in the Emergenza Festival in New York City. I don't think we will be taking part in the festival due to certain issues that we dont want to deal with. In other news October is probably the slowest TRSM month yet. We havent had one practice this month and I dont know if we will. Although we aren't playing the festival we are trying to set up some local shows and trying to book studio dates so we can start recording the full length. 9/15/05 Yesterday, the californian supreme court ruled the pledge of allegiance as unconstitutional! The god part has been causing lots of controversey over the past few years. Furthermore, if you thought Reagan was a bad, anti-environmentalist president than you know nothing. George Bush has down more damage in the past 8 months than Reagan did both of his terms combined. Bush only designated 530,000 acres as wildlife acres, where even Reagan gave over 10,000,000. This doesn't mean that he's getting rid of parks and shit though its just how much he feels is sufficient for wildlife or something.. .Assfuck. Oh, yeah, Plus Bush put over 30 species on the endangered list by opening up those 58 million some-odd acres for development. This is the most environmental damage in 14 years since his father was in presidency where he put over 200 species on the endangered list... Actually just click here to get all the info about this. The Bush Index 8/21/05 We recorded on the 11th and recorded 4 songs, however we couldn't work with one of them and we only have 3 up. Its on our myspace at http://www.myspace.com/theremostevensmovement Thanks to dre for recording us for free and mixing it and shit. We will be re-recording in a near-distant future, our best sound wasn't captured in this recording and hopefully we will perform better while recording in the future. However its good enough for the time being. The songs that are up are "What A Word," "Lanobiotic," and "Their Dance, Your Blood." 7/29/05 A majority of the lyrics are up now and we should be recording a 4 song demo really soon. 7/3/05 New lyrics section up but a bunch more have to be added. We are looking for some summer shows so if you want to book us you can email us at trsmecp@yahoo.com 6/23/05 Happy Summer, alright our new singers name is Mehmet Aygoren and now things are finally starting to come together with him. We are getting ready to record a free 4 song sampler which will hopefully be out in July, then we will start preparing to record the rest of our first full length record which will contain 16 songs... we'd like to say will be coming out late in 2005 but we cant promise anything yet. 6/7/05 We have a new singer.....his name is Mehmet.....More info + bio coming soon... 5/23/05 As sad as it is to say for all of us, Greg is no longer a part of the band anymore....things just didn't work out the way we planned them to but we felt this was the only thing we could do to keep the dynamic of the band going. As for the Remo Stevens Movement, we remain without a singer, but we think we may have a replacement. |
