What going on in LoA? |

09/15/03 - Ooooook! Well, I had a slight problem for the last month. It seems the NT virus got into my server computer and basically jacked it up for a few weeks. Then, after I got that taken care of, my personal computer was still ok, but unprotected, so I left it offline for a while longer. Then I wound up going to Atlanta, Georgia for two weeks. After that, I was just being lazy about getting an anti-virus put into this comp... a working one at least. At the moment it's still not completely protected. I have an older version of Norton installed that doesn't really like XP. (... I hate XP.) Anyway, I can do virus checks, but I can't block them from getting in to start with. I should have it by tonight, though, so we're still good to go. Anyway, today is my birthday party. (I'm 24! ... God, I'm old.) So, I'm going to work on what I can until The Boyfriend arrives to help me start cleaning the house and getting stuff ready for guests.
08/08/03 - I've finally finished the name links and all the pages are working right (I think). I still need to put up the new profiles and reopen registration. All that needs doing in the profs now is for me to add a few things to one or two of them. Nothing major. I still need to get the FAQ page up, which won't take long at all, so I'll hold off on it for a little while longer. Plus I need to move the Yeo and Pretas pages, fix those up properly, update them and relink anything on the LoA pages that goes to them. I'll be off on my real-life job for a few days, so I'll have to hold everything until, probably, Monday... but I don't think anyone will notice. ^_~
08/06/03 - Ok, you'll start noticing unlinked names on the list. Those are people who have profiles pending. I finally took the time to go through my files and find out who's up to bat. I've already added Maxine Azura being as her profile was already made by her and just needed to be linked to. I'm still doing the re-linking, being as I was interrupted by things like friends taking me to movies, and work, and dinner with my darling love. He's still here, so I might not get it finished today. (He's such a distraction!) I'll try though!
08/04/03 - Weee!! My first ever update-post on what I've been doing in LoA. Let's throw a party! ... No? Ok. On with the info. For starters, this -the Ladies of Ayenee- website has been up for somewhere over 3 year now... there's a date somewhere on one of the pages. Let me know if you find it. (Just kidding.) Anyway, I've been messing around with it from time to time, but I was recently moved to actually DO something with it. The first thing I did was redecorate. New background, new main title and a little reorganizing in the order of the names page. I put everybody in more proper categories, deleted dead links and changed a few titles. Next, I reorganized the file folders. For a long time I had most everybody in non-descript "GreatLadies" folders, which -you can imagine- was completely useless to me when I need to find a specific name. So, I've taken care of that and I'm still in the process of reworking all the links to the proper sites. If you've noticed that a certain percentage of the links are busted, that's because I'm still working. In fact, WAVE!!! I might be working on it right now. Hi!!! Soooo, anyway you can see that I've also added this page and a banner ad page in case you want to advertise LoA on your home site. (Yeah, you know you wanna!) I've put the new font zips up too. (Papyrus, Harrington, Tempus) Download them and install if the page seems a little Times New Roman-ish. I plan on adding an FAQ page somewhere along the way. Plus I'm going to remove the Pretas and Yeog'il'rymmin pages from this web address to move them to their own (so they'll stop hogging space on this one!) Once I get that finished, I can started adding profiles again. I have a lot of them still waiting to be inserted into the site (sorry guys!) Those guys get first come, first serve, but once they're in I can re-open registration.
Yes, registration is re-opening! But don't get excited yet! There's no telling when I'll get everything else done... If you've been around here before, you know my track record. If I take too long, email me and bug me to get a move on! ^_~ Well, I think that's it. I'll let you know when something new comes about! ~Junes
