We are involved with the deaf ministry at our church. We are actively looking for people in our area to visit with.
We have an annual Independence Day picnic for the deaf. If anyone would be interested in attending, please E-Mail me and I will give you more info about where and when the picnic will be.
We are very active in our church, and this is just another way that we might be able to reach the deaf for the Lord.
We had lots of fun, and got thoroughly soaked with the water balloon games. Ron has learned his lesson not to brag (he kept telling everyone how dry he was when all the balloons were gone - little did he know, some of us knew where the hose was!). I think Justin or Jon were the winners on the bowling, but Danielle gave it a real good try, too.

We are planning another picnic for 1999, on Monday, the 5th, since that is the official celebrated holiday. This year we hope to meet many more new friends, and share sweet Christian fellowship with our dear old friends.
