CONSTRUCTION
When the weather turns cold, you can usually find me curled up on the couch making some kind of afghan or other. If I'm not croceting, I'll be either embroidering or cross stiching. I have made several afghans, some of which are posted on the page link. Besides afghans, I have cross stiched a few pictures, a full size table cloth, ( this I'm still working on ) and even some pillow toppers.
Besides handworking, I also like to collect a few things. My first passion of collecting, is Hand made porcelin CAPODAMONTE flowers. These are procelin flowers hand made on the mountain tops of Italy. The talented craftsmen can take a piece of clay porceline and turn it into delicate natural looking flowers and sculptures. I prefer the matte finish flowers over the high gloss. I have added a picture of my small collection to my afghans page.
