I became a Zeta through the Psi Alpha chapter located on the campus of South Carolina State University. The chapter is within the Mighty Southeastern Region and was organized on February 8, 1941 by Sorors Madge P. Harper and Ester Payton on the campus of South Carolina State College in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a member of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. The Sorority was organized January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. by Five Pearls :Arizona Cleaver Stemmons, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, Viola Tyler Goings, Fannie Pettie Watts, Pearl Anna Neal. These phenomenal ladies were encouraged by Charles R. Taylor and A. Langston Taylor, debonair brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Thus, Zetas and Sigmas are the first and only constitutionally bound Greekbrother-sister organization. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has four founding principles:Scholarship, Service, Finer Womanhood, and Sisterly Love.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was organized January 9, 1914 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. Our brothers of Phi Beta Sigma on the campus of South Carolina State University are the Eta Alpha Chapter. I must send blu-love to my LBs, The Apocalypse of Spring '99.
