- I have mono, a sinus infection, AND strep throat. Believe it or not, I'm still alive. Barely.
- In Souls news, the band is going to be on the Conan O'Brien Show on January 16. That should be off da hook, yo.
- Theeee Bouncing Souls from New Jersey are going to be on Warped Tour this year. For the first time in awhile, the lineup is looking halfway decent. Some of the other acts include Flogging Molly, Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, NOFX, Lars Frederickson and the Bastards, Alkaline Trio, Yellowcard, The Casualties, and a ton more. Check out www.warpedtour.com for all the bands.
- Ah, that's it. I'm going to sleep now.

- It's two days after the Halloween Show in Asbury Park, and my ears are still ringing. Gotta love bass amps. Anyway, the show was unbelievable, and featured all kinds of special guests (Johnny X, Pedro in a speedo, Hot Water Music doing "True Believers", The Explosion, Agent M of Tsunami Bomb doing "Wish Me Well"). The Souls were dressed up as pirates, and smashed more pumpkins than Billy Corgan. I was a couple of rows behind Bryan, and I was covered in pumpkin seeds and silly string by the end of the show. The best parts had to be either a rare performance of "Old School", or Bryan putting down his bass and belting out "Night Train". Overall, a beautiful drunken evening with the Souls.
- The Souls will be in Europe from November 20 to December 13. Just thought you might like to know.

Lots of updates for all you kids and heroes...
- First of all, how great was Skate and Surf 2003? The Souls rocked, and despite the fact the show it rained like hell and the place was packed with emo kids, I had a great time. For the second straight year, the Bouncing Souls put on the best show. So where are the Souls right now, you may ask? Well, they're off in Eupore on the Deconstruction Tour with NOFX, Dropkick Murphies, and a slew of other bands.
- On March 28, 2003, the Bouncing Souls shot the video for a new song, "Kids and Heroes". I heard the song at Skate and Surf, and it sounded euphoric. The video was shot in a backyard in Asbury Park, NJ, a stones throw from my little house on the Jersey Shore. Apparently, the shoot rocked hard, and should turn out to be a helluva video.
- In other news, both the title and track listing on the new album have been announced. It'll be called "Anchors Aweigh", and it hits stores August 26. No doubt, it's gonna be off da hook. Here's a little track listing for ya'll to enjoy...

1. Apartment 5F
2. Kids and Heroes
3. New Day
4. Sing Along Forever
5. Born Free
6. Inside Out
7. Simple Man
8. Better Days
9. Night Train
10.Todd's Song
11. Blind Date
12. Highway Kings
13. Anchors Aweigh
14. I Get Lost

That's right! Sixteen blazin' new tracks!

- Sorry I haven't made any updates...I've been too busy watching THE FREAKIN' AWESOME DVD. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it is in stores. I know DVD's aren't very punk (VHS Rules!), but I'm willing to make an exception for the Souls. It's chock full of live videos and other paraphenalia to fulfill those days when you're horny for some Bouncing Souls material. And the beautiful documentary made me realize how utterly bad my biography of the band is. Anyway, I'll be checking out the Souls at Skate and Surf in Asbury Park, NJ. Hope to see you all there. And for you fellow New Jerseyians...hang in there cause the warm weather is coming baby!

- The Bouncing Souls split record comes out today. It features the Souls doing covers of Anti-Flags "That's Youth" and "We're Coming Back". Anti-Flag covers "Freak, Nerds, and the Romantics" and "Ever Fallen In Love With Someone". There's also 4 new songs by each band. Time to go to the record store...

-Went to Skate and Surf last weekend, and had a grand old time. The Bouncing Souls put an amazing show, and I spent my life savings on merchendise. Catch 22, Midtown, Alkaline Trio, and Big Wig also put on great shows. Tons of great bands, but the Souls put 'em all to shame.
