How do you go about developing your art work? What techniques/programs/etc. do you use?
I use Photoshop on all my pieces. I do have a very
specific technique when I make art but I'd rather keep it a secret if you
don't mind, hehe. I hate it when different artists churn out pieces that
are identical. I do love the Flaming Pear and EyeCandy filters.
What inspired you to create the winning piece?
For "Miss You": I just wanted to manip Pacey and Joey being on the phone together. Then I added the Incubus lyrics and the little convo they're having in the background just sort of came to me. I think I've come to the conclusion that the wallpaper is kind of Joey looking back on the last conversation she had with Pacey before he died on his way home to her... but who knows. Part of me still thinks he does come home and they're now living happily ever after.
For "Right": I just really loved the way they looked
at each other when he was walking out of the classroom, and wanted to animate
it for an icon. And then I thought Joey standing up for Pacey and not letting
him believe he was a loser just because Dawson said so was so great. And
plus "when it's right" as such a great double-entendre. "When it's right'..
like, they're right for each other. Geddit? Yeah.
As an artist, what are your plans for the future (within the fic world and beyond)?
I'll keep making fanart, for sure, cuz it combines
being an obssessive fangirl with practice for my lucrative marketing carerr
someday.
Would you like to thank anyone? Cheerleaders? Fans? Artists you admire?
All the girls at Bored Now (even though they'll never read this lol) for being so damn talented and inspiring me, and my fellow DC fanartists especially Dannie and Reen. You guys rock way more than I do. ;)
That is all. Goodnight.
