Hey Everyone!

Ok first of all, what were you people thinking giving it to me? OK that said, Thank You! I'm still a bit stunned.  The nomination for Best Pacey in a Completed Fic... Wow... That is a high honor, and I think the award I most coveted.

Pacey is the reason I watched that show, and definitely the only reason I write Fan fic.  He is such a great full character, that he drives me to try to write him in all his moments, to express his manner and gesture, so that I myself and the reader can get as close to "seeing" him as possible. I guess with this Award I can feel I must have accomplished that goal to at least some degree. :)

Once the show had finished I felt compelled to fix the relationships that were ruined, they robbed us of so much, and yet After experiencing the show, the robbing doesn't matter. They likely would have ruined it anyway.  So I started thinking about the ways it could be fixed. Not because of anyone else but Pacey.  He wanted he and Dawson to be friends, and so I wanted that for him. He wanted Joey, so I wanted him to have her. That simple really. I kept thinking, that if Pacey wanted Dawson as a friend, there must have been a reason, one we didn't get to see. And that is basically how BBE was born.

I would like to give a big thanks to everyone who read my fics, to those who gave feed back, those who nominated them, and to the boards for existing so I could post them. And especially to Sheila E. i.e. 3edges for being  my friend beta and sounding board, for all her encouragement without which none of my fics would ever have made it to posting stage.
