He's very lean, hardly any fat on him. He does have a bit of muscle in his upper body though. He's a good manuer shoveler, and he used to throw bales of hay back on his father's farm. His father is Jack Owens, a farmer in the lower part of the Nebraska Territory. His mother is Phyllis Owens, a housewife. He has two siblings: Abigail, and Burt Owens, still too young to be on thier own, one is 12 and one is 8. Jeff was raised up on his father's farm. He learned about livestock, particularly cows and horses. He is a hard worker and has a respect for people who do the hard work of the land, because he used to help do it. He would help to tend the fields and put in hay for the winter, and break the horses. He's now struck out on his own and is going to get a job with the Pony Express. Jeff's heard all about them and he wants to help to get the mail out at any cost. Jeff is a very hard working young man. He thinks nothing is worth having if you dont work hard for it. His father instilled that in him at a very young age. He is used to, and welcomes, challenging things. Jeff is determined, and stubborn, but he is also understanding if people cant do as good as him in certain things. He doesnt mind putting extra help in, if people are dedicated to trying thier best, just like him. He always respects authority figures. Jeff is a bit quiet, and really only speaks when he has something to say. |
