SALMON CAKES
Quick & easy. Terrific over rice with a dash of soy sauce or horseradish!
Salmon Cakes
  • 1 14 3/4 oz can Pink Salmon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Progresso Italian Style bread crumbs
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes

Open can of salmon; drain liquid. Remove the skin and bone from the salmon, placing the salmon meat into a large bowl.

Add all of the above ingredients to the salmon. Mix well. Form salmon mixture into patties.

Meanwhile, over medium heat, warm a bit of oil (of your choice) in a frying pan.

Fry the salmon cakes until done, approx. 5 mins per side.
