Brown meat and onion in frying pan; drain off fat; transfer to crock pot. Add remaining ingredients except the mushrooms. Also, be sure to drain the diced tomatoes or your sauce will be watery. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. During the last 30 minutes of cooking time, add the mushrooms. Serve sauce over hot spaghetti. Can be made ahead and frozen. |
