2. Because of her kind nature, she was picked on in grade school.
3. One time she got loss and a boy in a red hat lead her home.
4. Tohru has a knack for befriending people, who were strange facades.
5. Tohru once spent a short time in a tent because she didn't want to worry anyone.
6. Tohru really doesn't want to stay in high school but she promised her mother she would graduate.
7. Eager to prove herself, Tohru works hard so she will be able to stand on her own feet.
8. More often than not her intense dedication to work leads to her becoming ill.
9. The empathy that Tohru has for others is one of the qualities that her mother nourished in her.
10. Tohru tends to be distant when it comes to sharing her emotions with others and because of this she ends up putting others before herself.
11. Tohru genuinely does care about the Sohmas but even she has her own secrets.
12. Tohru tends to be her own worst critic, overreacting when she gets a bad mark or when she doesn't meet one of her personal goals.
13. Tohru doesn't believe in judging anyone or thinking the worst of anyone.
