Mitsuru doesn't have the heart to tell Ritsu that she hopes he never becomes like Ayame. Ayame is nice enough but far too energetic and fashioned obsessed for her taste. Plus Ayame is too close to Shigure and she doesn't think either are a good influence on Ritsu's self-esteem.

11. Ritsu worries that Akito will hurt Mitsuru the way he hurt Kana. He doesn't want Mitchan to forget but he doesn't want her to suffer either. Mitsuru doesn't want to forget either and vows she will fight to keep her memories if that is what it takes.
