Bet is an avid fisherwoman and gardener. On the day that I interviewed her she was digging out a new garden spot filled with knee deep oyster shells. Not something I would be doing!!
Bet is in the Prime of her life at age 69. She is always looking for the next adventure and believe me if Bet is looking for it she will find it or make her own!!
Bet recently celebrated/hosted her 50th Class Reunion!!
She loves cards, puzzles, fishing and gardening but her passion is cooking.
Bet is always giving of her time. Presently she is Sr. Warden at her church and she volunteers on the hospital fund-raising board.
Her most embarrassing moment was when she went to visit her 40 year old daughter and she walked in on her and her boyfriend when they were in the middle of something...hmmm she didn't say what but she did say she went right into the bathroom and turned around and left....
another embarrassing moment for Bet was in June of 2004 at the Trump Lovers Nashville gathering we were playing Spades..Bet goes nil and lo and behold about 6 cards into the hand she says ...oopsssssssssss I have the ace of spades!! She is the only one I know who can misclick playing live spades! (Now Bet did you think I was going to NOT include that little story in here?hehe)
