Ms. Braverman, beginning in 1990, was a trial attorney for a premier law firm handling both Plaintiff and Defense civil litigation before becoming staff counsel for a well known insurance company. Ms. Braverman has successfully tried several civil litigation cases in Fresno, Sutter, Yuba, Sacramento and San Francisco counties. She co-chaired a large multi million-dollar lawsuit on behalf of many Plaintiffs in a race discrimination / employment lawsuit. She also obtained a unanimous defense verdict in a difficult truck versus automobile accident case. From 1995 until the present, Ms. Braverman has been in private practice as a neutral mediator and arbitrator for not only the courts, but for law firms and attornetys in Northern California. Ms. Braverman serves as a Judge Pro Tem when called upon by the courts and most recently was recognized by Yolo County Superior Court for her mediation and arbitration time donated Pro Bono. She has over 14 years of legal expertise. Ms. Braverman received her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law of San Francisco, where she was the notes and comments editor of Law Review and Editor in Chief of Caveat, the law school newpaper. She obtained her B.A. in Jurisprudensce and Social Policy from Mills College of Oakland California. Ms. Braverman is licensed to practice law before all State and Federal courts in California and maintains an excellent legal and ethical reputation within the legal community. From 2001 to 2003, Ms. Braverman worked as an Account Executive and Facilitator for a global training company, strengthening Fortune 500 companies with effective communication skills and performance improvment abilities. Logging numerous hours to become a certified facilitator, Ms. Braverman perfected courses in : Inner Management Skills, Effective Listening Skills, Giving and Receiving Constructive Feedback, Coaching, Navigation Change, Leadership, Customer Service and Professional Selling and Coaching skills. Ms. Braverman currently maintains her facilitation certifications and acts as a consultant when called upon by individuals and large companies and corporations. Since 1999, Ms. Braverman has been an adjunct instructor at the University of Phoenix, where she teaches Employment Law, Business Law and The Legal Environment of Business to undergraduate and graduate MBA students. She has also taught coursesin Political Science and Speech at various Community Colleges in the Bay Area.
