Dave's first marriage collapsed after he checked into rehab. This was a very difficult time for him and to deal with the emotions, he recorded a solo CD which he never released. He keeps the CDs in his coffin in his living room. After the end of Janes Addiction, Dave, Eric Avery and drummer Mike Murphy formed a band called Deconstruction - This band didn't last. In 1993, after turning down a spot in Guns N Roses, Dave joined the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. |
