| Trich is spread throughout the world, though women get it more frequently than men. People who have multiple sex partners and/or a past history of STD's are more likely to get trich. It is more prevalent among the African-American and Hispanic population. There are two to three million people with trich in the United States, and an indefinite number in the world, as it goes so highly undiagnosed. People with trich are 3x more likely to get HIV when exposed then people without the infection. Home |
