Jefferson used terminology and expressed concepts which Christians and Deists could subscribe, appeasing the few Deists. Deism arose in the late 1600's. Deist do not believe in miracles or see little reason for prayer in their life, since God does not intervene to answer prayer. There are many cases when prayer was used at conventions after being called for.

In recent years, liberals in the court have misinterpreted the first amendment and required government to maintain an hostile indifference to Christianity. Joseph Story, a Supreme Court Justice in 1833 wrote 'at the time of the adoption of the constitution, and the amendment to it now under consideration, the universal sentiment was, that Christianity ought to receive encouragement from the state.

FACT 2-the Declaration of Independence was adapted from the Mecklenburg Declaration, which declared many similarities and was send by special messenger to the Continental Congress with identical language used. A quote from it, 'We here by declare ourselves a free and independent people, a sovereign and self-governing association, under control of no power other than that of our God and the general government of congress. 95 percent of the Founding Fathers were Christian. Of all the writings, the bible was the source most quoted by the Founding Fathers, 34 percent. And on the contrary, if the Founding Fathers didn't want us to be a Christian State, the would have put it in the Constitution, which they didn't!

FACT 3-1831 court case a witness was called up in New York state and declared that he did not believe in God or immortality of the soul. The judge refused to admit his evidence, on the grounds that he had destroyed all confidence of the court in what he was going to say. Atheism was frowned upon by our Founding Fathers also,

FACT 4-Benjamin Franklin wrote 'Serious religion, under it's various denominations (See, a founding father is talking about religion, and he means denominations! of the one true religion) is not only tolerated, but respected and practiced. Atheism is unknown there; Infidelity rare and secret so that persons may live without having their piety shocked by meeting with an Atheist or an Infidel.

FACT 5 and FACT 6-Just one of many examples of the Constitution written with a Christian foundation is the fifth and fourteenth amendment, regarding property rights. "Nor shall private property be taken for public use without just compensation" compared to Exodus 20:15,17-"Thou shalt not steal" and "Thou shalt not covet" clearly imply property rights.Another reference that God was in our Founding Fathers hearts and minds when they penned the Constitution? ok. Here you go. Try to respond to this one. Article 3 of the Constitution Section 3 Paragraph 1 'No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt act. Compared to Scripture 'At the mouth of two witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death' Deut. 17:6. ......The constitution of the United States Article 1 Section 7 Paragraph 2 :If any bill shall not be returned by the President within ten days(Sundays excepted)..hmm..sounds like they were Christian and it's in the Constitution! or how About this contract-FACT 7 The Constitution of Delaware 1776 Article XXII-Every person who shall be chosen a member of either house shall make the following declaration, "I (NAME) do profess faith in God the Father, and in Jesus Christ his only Son, one holy scriptures of the Old and New testament to be given by divine inspiration. Many such states had contracts like this. CONTRACTS! So Why don't you answer me for a change with FACTS and answer my challenges!!!!! Or don't bother wasting my time, amateur.....
