The ACLU was founded to defend the civil liberties of American citizens, including those that believed in communism. There has been no effort by the ACLU , as an organization, to promote communism as public policy in America. BTW, Roger Baldwin was not the only founder.

Just because the Catholic Church prohibits birth control does not mean they can make any attempt to force their non Catholic employees to abide by their religious concepts.

No, they successfully stopped administration led prayer, not individual prayer. You always have the individually protected right to pray in whatever manner you wish, just not to expect to have others led along with you by authority figures.
