So, if the Supreme Court came out and said it was ok to rape and pillage on Fridays, is that ok? Just because our corrupt court system makes a law doesn't make it right, or in accordance with our founding fathers wishes. They never wished for a separation of Christianity from Government. I take your point! |

SCHERAZAD FIRST RESPONSE |
Might as well surrender my point back immediately. If the founding fathers wanted this to be a Christian State then the would have put it in the constitution and they didn't. Supreme Court interprets the constitution and is representative of it more than anything or anyone else so if you are against them then you are against the constituion. I'm not saying I agree with everything they say but they are the authorites. You lose again. Scherazad5 - 2, DIZ - -2 |

MY SECOND RESPONSE |
Might as well surrender my point back immediately. If the founding fathers wanted this to be a Christian State then the would have put it in the constitution and they didn't. |
False. Back then it was assumed we were a Christian Nation. They didn't think a cancer like Liberalism would infect our once great Country. You're statement isn't backed up by Historical facts. |
First off, the Declaration of Independence was adapted from the Mecklenburg Declaration, which declared many similarities and was send by special messenger to the Continental Congress with identical language used. A quote from it, 'We here by declare ourselves a free and independent people, a sovereign and self-governing association, under control of no power other than that of our God and the general government of congress. 95 percent of the Founding Fathers were Christian. Of all the writings, the bible was the source most quoted by the Founding Fathers, 34 percent. And on the contrary, if the Founding Fathers didn't want us to be a Christian State, the would have put it in the Constitution, which they didn't! |
Supreme Court interprets the constitution and is representative of it more than anything or anyone else so if you are against them then you are against the constituion. |
Joseph Story, was a Supreme Court Justice wrote regarding the Constitution in 1840, 'We are not to attribute this prohibition of a national religious establishment [in the First amendment] to an indifference to religion in general, and especially to Christianity (which none could hold in more reverence than the framers of the Constitution) So, you are right! The Supreme Court interprets the Constitution, and they said it was Christian! It can't change, nomatter what crazy liberals want it to say nowadays, so the recent Supreme Court must be fallible. |
I'm not saying I agree with everything they say but they are the authorites. You lose again. Scherazad5 - 2, DIZ - -2 |

With the recent turn of events, my facts, you may want to revise the points...I'll be generous and humble....scherazad 0 still...Diz 500...:-) |

SCHERAZAD5 CLOSING |
Sorry bud but you are just assuming and that does not count in debate. This is your assumption with no evidence at all whatsoever. They didn't think a cancer like Liberalism would infect our once great Country...........oh great.....now I have this obnoxious font of yours. Anyway.....you can't make claims that you have no evidence of. You are also stating what was assumed back then yet you did not live then and do not know anyone who wrote the constitution so have no legitimacy in making those assumptions like it was just assumed that it was a Chrisitan Country. Nope.....no evidence. |
If it was and modeled after another which mentions god and ours does not then that means they intentionally did not put it in there. You are your worse enemy. You lost big on that one. Not to mention that the term god can apply to almost any religion and not just Christianity. |
And by the way........this ain't all that much fun! |
MY CLOSING |
you can't make claims that you have no evidence of. |
You stole my color! First off I presented evidence. If that wasn't evidence, maybe you can tell me what is. |
You are also stating what was assumed back then yet you did not live then and do not know anyone who wrote the constitution so have no legitimacy in making those assumptions like it was just assumed that it was a Chrisitan Country. |
And I didn't live back then, you a are correct, for a change, but I did present EVIDENCE, which proves my case. So, under your rules, history never ever happened, nothing because we didn't know anyone from the past. That makes a lot of sense. It was assumed it was a Christian country, and it WAS a Christian country. |
Nope.....no evidence. |
You failed to respond to any and all of my evidence, which I thought was going to happen. Someone not drinking Liberal Kool-Aid would have an open mind to the facts and would look at what I presented, which was scratching the surface, and have realized that we were founded by and created a Christian nation. |
If it was and modeled after another which mentions god and ours does not then that means they intentionally did not put it in there. |
This is a confusing statement, so I don't know if I can answer, but if it's more evidence you want, I can present more, easily. Christopher Columbus was a Christian and his purpose was to spread the Christian word and discover new lands and start them Christian. |
You are your worse enemy. You lost big on that one. Not to mention that the term god can apply to almost any religion and not just Christianity. |
True, but from early and hundreds of years old documents, we know that it is the God of Israel, and Christianity which they all refer to. |
And by the way........this ain't all that much fun! |
Sorry. I am having fun. I am glad you debated me. You are a funny person with a good personality and I thought you would like to know the truth of our Country's history. If you are open minded to the facts, you can overwhelm your friends and associates on any given topic, just as long as you know the truth... :-) |

FINAL COMMENT |
