...Arriving April 1st 2005, KYOSHO'S newest platform will herald a NEW start to the 1:18 off-road scale...Almost identical in design to it's big brother the MP 777 INFERNO, this new car boasts features never in this scale up until now...It gives what the ASSOCIATED 18T never gave and promises more then the LOSI Mini T ever could...
...The scale of the Mini Inferno is taken from the MP 777 which is a 1:8 scale GP buggy...The true scale of the 'MinFerno' is closer to 1:16 than 1:18, which makes it SLIGHTLY bigger than the 18T but MUCH smaller than a 1:10 vehicle...The wing out the back gives it a much bigger appearance though...The MinFerno has a MUCH wider chassis than the 18T...In theory this will translate to more stability at speed...
...The KYOSHO ships with friction shox which are claimed to be 'just as good as oil' but oil-filled alloy shox WILL be available around the April Fools release...They appear to be gun-metal or black in colour which would hold with KYOSHO's tradition of doing MINI Z alloy parts in gun-metal :) |
